
Autopilot
Made for Trijam #318, a 2D top down shooter game with a twist:)
Some bugs are there, but i dont have any development time in my 3 hours to fix it:( Sorry for the problems
One day... B.O.T woke up. Its defective codes not seen, B.O.T was used by the company to fight away bits--viruses trying to attack bot--The first bot with "conscience", according to the company. However, B.O.T's defect is: It cannot use its conscience for too long for its extremely power consuming. Therefore, B.O.T need to balance its smart model with its autopilot--the power-saving model which can only walk forward and attack. On top of these modes, B.O.T also has an efficient recharge mode—which is activated when autopilot isn’t moving.
Controls:
WASD/Arrows: Move
Left mouse button: Shoot(Mouse position is shown with the blue light dot)
Space: Switch between autopilot mode & smart mode
Tip: entering autopilot while the player is not moving gives double the recharge, but cannot shoot and walk as the drawback.
Gameplay tips
-Utilize Autopilot and Supercharge mode:Autopilot mode shoots faster without the need of eneregy, while Supercharge mode gives +5 energy every second!
-Be careful of staying in the corner--enemies can spawn outside of your boundary!
This game getting too easy? here are some challenges!
-Only using autopilot to shoot--that is, no shooting on smart mode!
-Only using Supercharge mode
-Only using regular Autopilot mode
